GETTING TO IO

IO is located in Pacific Heights and close to Union Street. The area is filled with beautiful Victorian houses, eclectic shopping, and eateries, plus beautiful nearby views of the San Francisco Bay, making it a great destination for a day. Please see step-by-step directions below from various locations.

Westbound Hwy 80 (from Oakland)

  • Take Hwy 80 over the Bay Bridge
  • Take the Ninth Street/Civic Center exit, staying in center exit lane, which puts you on Harrison Street
  • Travel 1 block on Harrison and turn right onto 9th St. On 9th, get into the left hand lanes labeled “Hayes Street”
  • 9th Street will veer left onto Hayes St. as you cross Market Street
  • From Hayes, turn right onto Franklin (after Van Ness Avenue)
  • Continue up Franklin and turn left at Pine St. (after Bush Street)
  • Right on Fillmore Street (after Webster Street)
  • International Orange is on the right side of Fillmore Street, between California and Pine Streets

Southbound Hwy 101 (from Marin)

  • From the north, go over the Golden Gate Bridge and follow the overhead signs to downtown
  • Follow Lombard St. east and turn right on Fillmore Street
  • Continue on Fillmore Street, steeply up and over the hill, then down into the Pacific Heights area
  • International Orange is on the left side of Fillmore Street, between California and Pine Streets

Northbound Hwy 101 (from San Jose)

  • From the south via Hwy 101, take Ninth Street/Civic Center exit
  • Travel north on 9th Street and get into the left hand lanes labeled “Hayes Street”
  • 9th Street will veer left into Hayes Street as you cross Market St.
  • From Hayes, turn right onto Franklin (after Van Ness Street)
  • Continue up Franklin and turn left at Pine Street (after Bush Street)
  • Right on Fillmore Street (after Webster Street)
  • International Orange is on the right side of Fillmore St., between California and Pine Streets

Northbound Hwy 280

  • Follow the signs to Golden Gate Bridge
  • You will be on 19th Avenue which becomes Park Presidio Blvd. as you pass through Golden Gate Park
  • Turn right on California Street for approximately 2.3 miles
  • Turn right on Fillmore Street (after Steiner Street)
  • International Orange is on the left side of Fillmore Street, between California and Pine Streets

STREET PARKING

As with almost any destination in the city, parking is an art! Good parking (2-hour un-metered parking) is often found on Pine and Bush, which cross Fillmore. Fortunately, cars in IO’s neighborhood are constantly leaving just as often as they’re arriving.Unfortunately, we cannot fill parking meters.We do not recommend parking in a metered spot on Fillmore since these meters are 30 minutes or one hour only. IO clients will need 75-90 minutes in the spa for a one-hour treatment considering check in and enjoying the sundeck and steamroom facilities.

NEIGHBORHOOD PARKING LOTS

International Orange has two conveniently located parking lots:


  1. California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) offers its parking lots to the public. The two lots are located between Clay and California, and Webster and Fillmore. The rate is $2 per hour with a $20 daily maximum.

  2. There is a 2-hour metered parking lot on California Street, between Fillmore and Steiner (across the street from Mollie Stone’s grocery store).
