“IO STANDBY” FAQ

Q: What is it?
A: The “IO Stand-By” provides clients with access to same-day discounts on IO massage and facial treatments with the IO expert spa staff. IO Stand-By bookings are on a first-come, first served basis as appointments become available. This kind of service is why we’re the best-loved San Francisco spa.

Q: How does it work?
A: You fill out an online form telling us likely days and times you might be available (and the treatments you prefer) and we put you on the IO Stand-By list. When there is a vacancy or last minute cancellation, we go to the list, look for a match and then call that person up. How many other spas in San Francisco call you up to see if you’re available for your favorite treatments?

Q: How much is the discount?
A: It depends on the treatment but usually it’s between (25% to 35% off) on same-day services only. Stand-By deals cannot be combined with any other IO offers and may not be paid for with a gift certificate.

Q: Can I book it in advance?
A: You can always book an appointment in advance with IO but that is different than the discounted IO Stand-By services. Stand-By services are limited, not available every day and are not guaranteed. The discounted services are offered only day-of.
