Rosemary teaches a strong, honest and deeply compassionate Vinyasa Flow class. She emphasizes the breath, intention, mindful alignment… and ultimately, the cultivation of energy and awareness. It is her experience and belief that a consistent practice offers the practitioner a pathway to his or her own divine, radiant nature.

Rosemary began her study of Yoga in the traditional Astanga style with beloved teacher, Tim Miller. She has since worked with a beautiful array of Vinyasa instructors (Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra and others) and seeks to incorporate this creativity and grace into her teachings. In addition to her physical practice, Rosemary has studied Vipassana Meditation at Spirit Rock Center and maintains a personal meditation practice.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, and annual retreats and trainings throughout California, Mexico and Hawaii, Rosemary welcomes students from far and wide… inviting beginners and advanced practitioners alike to the transformational power of the journey.

Sunday, February 23, 2014 — 2:00-4:00PM
with Tina Foster

Yoga Nidra is a systematic approach to complete relaxation. American Yoga Master Rod Stryker calls the experience one of “relaxing into greatness.” At the height of practice, the subconscious – where our deepest tensions are stored – becomes relaxed and open. Tina will guide students into a familiar state of mental twilight between wakefulness and dreams known to neuroscientists as “theta.” Practitioners of Yoga Nidra describe a feeling of luscious comfort, safety, and well-being, with no sense of linear time passing.

Benefits of Yoga Nidra include:
  -  deep relaxation during the practice and afterwards
  -  cultivation of a more positive mindset and more clarity during active life
  -  improved sleep
  -  alleviation of diseases associated with stress such as depression, hypertension, asthma, and digestive disorders

Workshop cost is $45. Pre-register by February 18 and pay only $40.

Space is limited to 12 students. Walk-ins will be accepted only if space permits.
Added layers are recommended for comfort.
